In recent years, IT investment sustained growth, business costs and efficiency of the "double pressure" driving the world's fast-growing IT service outsourcing market, which accounts for IT services, increasing the share of total expenditure. According to IDC research, the global IT services spending in 2008 reached a total of 576.749 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 7.6%, of which outsourcing IT services reached 215.952 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 9.3%. According to the relevant Ministry of Commerce statistics shows that China's service outsourcing export contracts for the implementation of the amount of 2.094 billion U.S. dollars in 2007, compared to 2005 increased 118%. In 2008, during the economic crisis, China's service outsourcing export maintained a rapid growth, the total of service outsourcing export contract value was 1.9 billion U.S. dollars from Janurary to Augest, and this is higher by 17% compared to the same period of last year. From January to May, 2009, there were 1,057 new software outsourcing companies and 246,000 new employees. The revenue for software outsourcing reaching 2.3 billion U.S. dollars (82.4% of revenue came from global software outsourcing projects), it is higher by 45% compared to the same period of last year. "Outsourcing Industry Development Report 2009," pointed out that the first three quarters of China's software and information service outsourcing industry revenue reached 146.36 billion yuan (approxmately $21.43 billion) , an increase of about 24.5%, expected full-year revenues will be close to 200 billion.
