Legal Process Outsourcing

Generally speaking, Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) refers to a law firm avaliling legal support services from an outside law firm or from a legal support services company. Technically, LPO is a system in which a regulated legal professional outsources legal work to a service procider in another country who is a regulated service provider. LPO roots from Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), which refers to knowledge-intensive work that involves specialized domain expertise. Why LPO develops so quickly across the globe? There are some core reasons. First is the rising cost of legal services; second is golbalization; third is increased computerization of legal processes; fourth, advancement in internet technology; fifth, access to outside talent and the last is round the clock availability.
