According to researches, users of IT outsourcing in London are buying more smartphones than feature phones for the first time. Moreover, these are the preferred type of device in Western Europe for the first time today. With every country in Europe rising adoption of this technology, now smartphones has comprised 52% of total mobile phone shipments. European mobile devices research manager at IDC, Francisco Jeronimo also highlights that Android-driven handsets have been part of these rising volumes. Additionally, he said that compared with those manufacturers with less attractive smart devices, smartphones now dominate the Western European phone market and those vendors with stronger portfolios in the segment are consolidating their positions.
