Java E-payment System Development

The Client

This software enterprise in the UK provide full range of IT technical and application supports to companies in banking sector with scientific and professional approach. They release an e-payment system many years as their mainstream product.

They needed a professional software development company to optimize and maintain this business system to reduce the development cost. They wanted to find an experienced corporation in China which has a mature team of quality self-management and high technique levels to reach their goals.

The Overview

On the client’s area, they organized an internal team includes business analysts, PM and developers. As the internal team is familiar with the e-payment system, they were in charge of business requirement phase and the kernel development work: data security to decrease the project risks and obtain better management of the development process.

On RayooTech side, our team composed by 1 project manager and 7 developers and held responsible for the system maintenance, new functions implementation and finish the assignment came from client requirement.

Key Points

- System Architecture

The biggest trouble came from the system architecture. In the beginning stage of development it contains more than 25 ANT projects in and several existing J2EE frameworks. We have to integrate all these together in this system.

- Overcame Time Difference

The client worked according to American time which is 7 hours different from us. Our team will kept questions or problems while development in the morning, and communicated with client in the afternoon when our client started to work in the UK.

- The new collaboration in April 2010

From the economic crisis in June 2009, the team has been cut down to only two developers. Recently, the client decided to raise the number of developers for the deeper cooperation with us. It is nice to see our business partner over came the economic crisis and expand the development with RayooTech.
