The Client

This client is one of the largest medical equipment stores based on Florida, the U.S. who sells medical equipment to improve people’s health and well being. They provide wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, power chairs, bariatric equipment, patient lifts, mobility products, ramps, hospital beds and more.

Project Overview

This is a billing system in Java which developed for medical equipment store. The client indicated this advanced billing system should include all basic billing system functions and some special requirements which meet their needs. The system should support strong function to accept various payment types, for example, like cash, debit card, credit card, PayPal, personal check, etc. There should be at least two kinds of account type in the system: administrator account and user account. Administrator can view all the financial details. Some general data can be shared in a defined group but some important data should be encrypted and can be accessed by automated users. All products information and related details should be loaded into the system and in different categories. The system should also save payers’ details and their purchase information and other information.

The system interface should be human friendly, easy to navigate and easy to use. The code should be light-weighted and contain meaningful comments in order to modify and maintenance.
