Interview with Developer about the iPhone Application Development Project

As one of core iPhone developers, Albert Wang shared his experience with our press journalist during the last interview:

‘I was glad that I joined this iPhone application development project for a well-known perfume chain store in the United Kingdom. […]

We keep the same theme style as their web’s. We kept the layout and interface as simple as possible, no redundant or duplicate elements on the interface. We simulated the user navigation to make sure that users achieve goals simply, easily and no confuse. Our graphic & interactive designer made great effort on it.

The iPhone programming language is Objective-C that is a simple computer language designed to enable sophisticated object-oriented programming. Our object-oriented development environments contained the following parts: an object-oriented programming language, a library of objects, a suite of development tools, and a runtime environment. We used Xcode as the iPhone application development tool. With this Apple’s suite of development tools, Xcode support code editing, building executables, source-level debugging, performance tuning, project management, etc. We used Interface Builder to assemble the user interface, such as text fields, buttons, etc. Another useful tool provided by Apple is Instruments. Within the Instruments environment, we analyzed and monitored the performance of iPhone application while running in the simulator and one a device. […]’

The project director Mr. Russell told our press journalist:

‘No doubt, we are very satisfied with the performance of the iPhone application. You know, the application fully meets our requirements. With the application, our customers absolutely can view and order our products online via their mobile devices. Customers can view our products by choosing their interested categories, for example, Women’s, Men’s, Brands, new products or special offers. They can view each perfume details, save products in the cart and check out. I was impressed when I tested the application, with each click, definitely I knew in which stage and what I was going to do. There were no confusing, no visual issues, and no implement problems, I believe our employees and customers will happy with it and the application will help us to promote our business in the future.
