The Challenge:

The client needed a non-commercial, personalize, and unique Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system to improve their work efficiency. They wanted an ECM application that allows them to improve customer service support experience for their customers; and be faster in terms of offering financial solution plans. In order to cut cost and drive efficiency into the financial company, the client outsourced the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system development project to Beijing RayooTech Co., Ltd.

RayooTech Solution:

Since the client wanted a personalized ECM system, we used the explore-offer-action-confirm approach to design and develop this application.

By exploring, RayooTech team communicated closely with the client. In addition to improving customer service supports and providing fast and reliable finance solutions, we found out that the client actually wanted the ECM system development to be a web application development. The client also did not wish to purchase additional licenses for development tools or environment.

After evaluating the system requirements, RayooTech offered to develop the entire Enterprise Content Management system using open source technologies under the GNU general public licenses.

Our engineers designed the ECM features and functions as five interactive modifiable modules. These modules allow the client to easily scale their financial solutions and provide better consulting services. These modules are:

Client Information Module: contains information about the company such as contact info, office location, and company mission.

RFP Module: allows guest users to fill in an online form to request for consulting service or financial solution price estimate.

Resource Module: consists of customer testimonials, study cases, brochures, press releases, and white papers.

Customer Support Service Module: includes Q&A, online live chatting, and various other social network communication devices.

Solution Library Module: is created for internal uses. The client’s employees can unify all the financial solutions into one area. They can quickly access relative financial solution and past consulting cases.

Our team then took action by documenting the project overview, requirement, and project system development and implementation process details under standard CMMI. Then our engineers built a workable prototype. We demonstrated the newly developed ECM system to the client in order to confirm if the system specifications fits the client’s requirement. Then explore-offer-action-confirm cycle continuous until the client is satisfied with their personalized ECM.
