The Client

The client was a travel company located in the U.S. who wanted to develop a website and integrated CMS to control the internal business process which can help them safe process time, and maintain all business transaction.

Project Overview

This is a PHP website development project. Our client needed to develop a travel company website to host news, trip, air ticket and related travel location information, and it will be a member base website all trip, air ticket hotel booking are member’s only functions. Also they need a content management system to maintain the website information and business process.

Main function:

1 - Air ticket booking function – get order by website front end member submit or by CMS employee submit, then wait for accounting to audit the order, then employee order the air ticket from the air ticket company and update full ticket information to the member’s order form, finally member can check the ticket information in their account.

2 - Trip booking function –get order by website front end member submit or by CMS employee submit, then wait for manger to audit the order (some may be special tripe order), then employee will going and process the trip order. The function wills tracking the order static and alerts the employee and the manger by email when a risk will arrive.

3 - Reporting function – customer, employee and manger all will have their own report system to show the static of their ordering, work results, monthly overview and yearly overview information.
